Session Details
Option 1: White water rafting
Guided white water rafting session on the river Teifi. This session is water dependant, we require higher river levels after rain.

2.5 - 3 Hours
Session times:
0930-1230 / 1330-1630 (arrivals to farewells)

in the confirmation email
Minimum age:
Recommended age of 10+ but this is flexible as
every person has different abilities
Adverse condition:
If the water is to high too make a safe trip we will adapt
the session or change to an alternative session / location.
We can still do the session in the rain. If the river is too low we adapt this session to tubing which is an amazing session.
We will provide you
with:
- Full winter wetsuit
- Buoyancy aid
- Helmet
- (in the colder months we add more neoprene to more skin to make the session even better)
You will need to
bring:
- Shoes which will get wet, old trainers are best, ideally they have a good sole and don't come off easily
- Towel
- Swimming costume
Swim ability:
None
required, as you will float in all the
equipment. Please advise us if you are a non swimmer or
nervous in the water so we can best cater for you during
the session. There are sections where you can be 6 meters
from the nearest bit of land, however if there is a current you may travel along with the current and instructor.
White Water Rafting with CBA
When the river levels increase, it’s time to blow up the raft and get onto some white water (up to grade 4).
During the 9.21km of natural river, paddling on white and gently flowing water taking in the best drops on the Teifi. Working as a team with a trained guide, you’ll negotiate the cauldron, surf the wave in preparation for the steep drop finale of Henllan falls.
Rafting is one of the few team-based outdoor sports so it’s a popular choice for group activities and events. You don't need to be fit but you will need to paddle for 2 hours, you don't need any experience, you just need to hold on!
