Option 1
Guided coasteering session just South of Cardigan
Duration:
2.5 - 3 Hours
Session times:
0930-1230 / 1330-1630 (arrivals to farewells)
Distance:
Varied we go by the groups ability on the day
Location:
We will send the meeting location
in the conformation email.
Minimum age:
Recommended age of 8+ but this is flexable as
every person has different abilites.

Guided coasteering session just North of St Davids in the
Blue lagoon
Duration:
2.5 - 3 hours
Sesion times:
0930-1230 / 1330-1630 (arrivals to farewells)

Varied we go by the groups ability on the day

We will send the meeting location in the conformation email
Minimum age:
Recommended age of 8+ but this is flexable as every person has different abilites.
What to bring / wear?
We will provide you
with:
- Full winter wetsuit
- Buoyancy aid
- Helmet
- (in the colder months we add more neoprene to more skin to make the session even better)
You will need to
bring:
- Shoes which will get wet, old trainers are best, idealy they have a good sole and dont come off easily.
- Towel
- Swimming costume
- Shorts to go over the wetsuit
Adverse condition:
If the sea is to rough to make a safe trip we will adapt
the session or change to an alternative session / location.
We can still do the session in the rain.
Swim ability:
None
requried, as you will float in the all the
equipment. Please advise us if you are a non swimmer or
nervous in the water so we can best cater for you during
the session. There are sections where you can be 20 meters
from the nearest bit of land.
What is Coasteering?
Coasteering was born here in West Wales, inspired by the rugged coastline of West Pembrokeshire. Coasteering is a journey along the tidal margin which combines a mix of swimming, scrambling and jumping. No two coasteer's are ever the same— the wind, waves and tide are constantly changing the sea conditions so you’re always guaranteed a unique journey.
Coasteering is an active journey along the tidal margin which presents challenges along the way. Using a mix of climbing, scrambling, leaping, traversing, swimming, sliding, ducking and jumping you will experience our wild coast through the zawns, gullies, caves, cliffs and reefs of the Pembrokeshire and Cardigan Bay coast.

Cardigan Bay Active provides both family and adult coasteering sessions which allows us to cater for all the needs of your group.
Our qualified, local instructors will lead your group into areas of the coast which would be inaccessible unless you give it a go, giving you the opportunity to see spectacular geology and marine life in untouched habitats.
We split our coasteering adventures to cater for family groups with young children and the older and perhaps more adventurous to ensure that nobody is pushed outside what they feel comfortable doing. This provide a safe and enjoyable experience, no matter your age, ability or experience.
