Join our qualified staff on a journey into Cilgerran Gorge. After a short walk along the river we arrive at the launch point,from there we set off up river to start exploring the Gorge which is unnavigable by power craft, making it an unspoilt and idyllic location for spotting a variety of wildlife which includes Kingfishers, Otters, Heron's, Cormorants, Dragonflies, Salmon and Sewin to name but a few.

 

 

During your voyage our guides will tell you the story of the Gorge. They will also help you on your search to identify fresh Otter tracks and the different species of wildlife all around.

 

At the end of your voyage we will finish off with a run down the gentle rapids, this is a fun, bumpy part just before you get out of the canoes and take a short walk back to the start point.

 

The Open Canoe Trips have something to offer everyone, young and old. We can accomodate anyone from the ages of 3 upwards. So far, our oldest customer is 93!
